The hardest part of Laser sailing for me (other than keeping the boat upright)is getting off the beach. <br /><br />Here is my question:<br />The wind is building while racing. I'm hiking as much as possible, but still can't keep the boat flat upwind. Would it be advisable to: 1)tighten the cunningham first, to spill air out of the top section of the sail; 2)if I continue to have problems, tighten the outhaul and vang (in a particular order, or simultaneously)and; 3)if I still can't keep the boat flat, particularly in gusts, let enough sail out until it just begins to luff to get the boat flat?<br />Since I've been unable to sail lately to try this, I thought I'd run it by you. <br />Thanks,<br />Jerry - Laser173678@gmail.com.Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12298688007384884172noreply@blogger.com
